BIO
Born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island and in Denver, CO, I currently reside with my husband and feline overlord, Mia Grace, in the suburbs of Philadelphia and near the beautiful beaches of Cape May, New Jersey.
I grew up wanting to be an archeologist and a musical actress, which I thought was a perfectly reasonable combination. In my living room, I’d perform songs from my parents’ musical theater albums and pretend someone discovered me and made me a star. In elementary school, I nabbed the lead role in Mame and choreographed and performed Top 40 songs at school assemblies. After high school and a toe-dip in college, I moved from Colorado to California and back to Colorado, forming an all-original rock band. I wrote songs, sang, and played rhythm guitar, keyboards, and percussion. Nothing beats the thrill of recording and performing live, but typing “The End” on a novel's first draft is close!
When not writing, I enjoy reading, interior design, fashion, and sharing great meals, laughter, and deep conversations with family and friends. You can listen to my music here.
